Collection Les Indigos

Hello Saahel’s Friends!

February 2022… here I am as promised. I hope you stepped into the new year with positive vibes and good health. The world is still under new waves of Covid, but we, as humanity, are moving on. Hopefully, this year will be the return to normalcy and quietude. Let’s hope and pray for it…

Saahel and Team are doing well. We have been busy since I wrote to you all, end of December. The Indigo collection – les Indigos de Saahel are still in the works, but half of them are ready to wear and will be entering our store in March. Ladies first, right? So, we are expecting twelve new models – a mix of everyday and cocktail dresses, a couple of coats, evening outfits and even some beautiful headwraps which can be worn in different ways.

Our shooting is underway for the end of February, and right after that session, the collection will enter our boutique at www.saahel.us

The moment the collection is launched, I’ll be back on the blog to drop a few lines so that you can go visit and see what you may purchase.

For end of May, the 2022 Saahel’s regular collection will be completed as well – very different from the Indigos, but nonetheless chic, classy, and original in designs. There are plenty of reasons to love May. It's the start of summer, flowers are blooming, and you can finally begin entertaining outdoors again. And with outdoors come outfits, colorful clothing, original models to wear. We aren’t yet there but time is passing by fast.

Before closing those few lines, it would be great as Saahel’s community, to share the news that a riveting and gripping book – SALOU – www.morenikefaal.com is about to be published soon. It is a great story:

“Salou Kassai can’t remember her own name— or anything else for that matter. After a tragic accident that took her memory and much of her mobility, she wakes up in a Parisian hospital confused and afraid. As she relearns how to use her mind and body, she finds herself torn between a past she hopes to recover and a future she’s beginning to build.

Promising resident neurosurgeon Benjamin Gardé de Soos is having trouble keeping his mind off his newest patient. Placed on Salou’s case, he finds himself drawn to her, returning to her bedside again and again no matter how hard he tries to stay away. He knows doctors should not form relationships with their patients, but his feelings for Salou are quickly gaining the upper hand.

As Salou and Benjamin grow closer, civil unrest burgeons in Salou’s homeland of Conakry, Guinea. There, a group of rebels secretly prepares to overthrow the Guinean government. When a leader of the insurgency meets Salou in a chance encounter, he discovers that he wants more than just political power.

Packed with suspense and romance, this genre-defying tale spans countries, cultures, and time to interlace a compelling set of characters as their world threatens to pull everything apart.”

Thanks for your kind support, Saahel’s family! It is greatly appreciated!
