Time to relax. The end of year is here!
Hello Saahel Family and Friends, My last post was dated end of May, beginning of June 2021. Seven months later, here we are at the end of the year, and about to start 2022. Time flew by… I hope first and foremost that you are all doing very well, that the year was good for each and everyone of you and that you are positively anticipating stepping in the new one.

The men’s outfits are still in the making and will reach our online store in July 2021. We thank you for your patience! So, for now, the Saahel woman can pick between two beautiful evening dresses, a summer skirt, and a fall coat.
Looking ahead…
Hello Saahel Friends, Here we are almost at the end of February. In a couple of days, a new month will start. I wanted to take a moment to check on you all, say hello, and let you know that we are still working hard on Saahel’s forthcoming collection which should be launched this coming April.
TANGANIKA Collection
It’s been a while since we shared a blog… Indeed, but we haven’t forgotten about you. We were just busy working on our next collection scheduled to enter our store in the coming weeks. Our designers and tailors are crafting something different, contemporary in style and colors and easy to wear. Something we hope you’ll like and enjoy.
Welcome to the Makkaan and Tarama collections!
As promised, the Makkaan Men’s collection will be released in a couple of weeks for you to shop for sunny days – The Dashiki tops, along with colorful traditional and modern T-shirts, sweatshirts, pants and shorts will be on our shelves, along with leather sandals available for a grab.
And now, ladies and Gentlemen : The Dashiki !
In the Yoruba culture, different colors of dashikis represent various events and shades of emotions. History reminds us that “the traditionally white or purple dashikis were worn by grooms on their wedding day.” The purple was “the color of African royalty.” Blue dashikis symbolized peace, harmony, and love.
Summer is coming...
Saahel is striving to keep its promise to present you with new designs. Things are moving along fine and according to schedule. In preparation for the upcoming sunny days dessing up for the season and time to kiss Covid-19 goodbye, entitle yourself to the pleasure of the eyes.
